The Rapids Castle is often regarded as the "fatherland" of all humans on Azeroth, and its security guarantees enable the tribes gathered here to thrive and develop in the surrounding territories. Many farms were established in the lowlands of Arach, and human influence quickly spread further east and south. The establishment of the Rapids Fortress provided sufficient security for humanity: its geographical location allowed people to easily connect with dwarves in the south and higher elves in the north, establish trade that could promote social prosperity, and only occasionally encounter obstruction from trolls east of Sintland.
